How Ancient Sacred Geometry Could Radically Alter Modern Science and Medicine

It may sound crazy, but theories about the effects of pyramids on nature have been around for thousands of years. It wasn’t until 1930 that interest in the subjects resurfaced in the West, when French hardware-store owner and author Antoine Bovis developed the idea that small models of pyramids can preserve food. It is alleged that he used a divination technique known as dowsing to come up with the theory.

In 1949, inspired by Bovis, Karel Drbal, a Czech businessman created a pyramid shaped box dubbed the “Pharaoh’s Shaving Device” for keeping blades sharp. His patent claimed his device could focus “the earth’s magnetic field,” although he did not make it clear how or whether it was the shape or material that exerted the effect. The idea that pyramids could have such an apparently magical effect eventually caught on when authors Sheila Ostrander and Lynn Schroeder published “Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain.” In it, they included a chapter about the theory based on a meeting they had with Drbal while traveling.

The Pyramid Experiments

In 1990 Russian researcher Alexander Golod picked up where the others left off, this time attempting to introduce the scientific method to the study of this pyramid power notion. He coordinated groups of scientists in Russia in order to carry out scientific studies within fiberglass Pyramids that were built by him.

The results have been pretty astounding. Though it has been cited that his research is corroborated by the Russian Academy of Sciences, they have never publicly published any data or papers to verify the claims. Regardless, some of the effects have been cited in books and on many sites on the web and several of the research team members, who are affiliated with these Russian scientific organizations have been named.

Here are some of the top results that Golod’s team have determined in experiments conducted in Moscow. All experiments were performed within large pyramids constructed by Golod and his team.

• The Immune system of organisms increased upon exposure in the pyramid (Scientific Research Institute named by Mechnikov, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences)
• Specific properties of medicines increase with decreasing side effects after exposure in the Pyramid (SRI of Virology named Ivanovskiy, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences)
• Agricultural seeds placed in the pyramid showed a 30-100% increase in yield
• Russian military grade radar machines detected an energy column above the Pyramids built by Alexander Golod which is thought to have repaired the Ozone layer in this area of Russia
• The pathogenic strength of different viruses and bacteria becomes less with exposure in the pyramid
• Radioactive materials decayed at a more rapid rate than expected.
• Dangerous pathogenic viruses and bacteria became less harmful to living organisms in a pyramid. Even the psychotropic drug LSD showed less of an effect on an individual within close proximity and inside the pyramid.
• Heavy metals including the toxic Strontium that polluted a city water well disappeared from the water supply when a municipal administrator ordered the raising of pyramids over the source. They soon were able to pump clean water.

One of the more startling findings in this independent research relates to the health of 20 premature newborns whose prognosis was inevitable death.

These newborns were fed less than an ounce of a 40% solution of glucose in distilled water which had been placed in the healing pyramid energy field for several days. All 20 of the premature babies, to the joy and elation of the parents and Russian scientists, lived.

Then Russian scientists tried the exact same experiment, this time using ordinary tap water stored in their pyramid and once again, with just a single milliliter (less than an ounce) of water it worked to save babies lives just as well.

Geometry: Ancient Tools for Enlightenment?

Arguably one of the more interesting findings is that the properties of water seem to defy chemistry when exposed to time within the pyramidal structures. When researchers placed plastic bottles of regular distilled water inside of the pyramid, even at the freezing point temperature of -38 Degrees Celsius the water would not freeze. It seemed to remain in a form of liquid ice that defied the accepted laws of science. But when the water was shocked with a sudden movement like shaking the bottle or making an impact on the outside of the plastic container, the water would suddenly change to ice in a wave of freezing.

The work of Japanese Scientist Masaru Emoto seems to corroborate the idea that the properties of water can be altered by frequency. His groundbreaking work has deomonstrated the fractal nature of water when it is exposed to harmonious and positive words and intentions. The more positive the energy directed at water, a clear and symmetrical fractal pattern emerges.

On the other hand when words like hate, anger or destructive phrases are directed to water, the less symmetrical and more warped and damaged the water particles appear to be.

All of these unlikely connections beg the question, what exactly is it about a shape that can so clearly affect matter in such a way? How can something so intangible cause biological and non-biological objects alike to defy the widely accepted rules of chemistry, physics, and biology? Could there be other shapes that affect our world in similar ways?

Ancient Buddhist and Hindu traditions have held mandalas in high esteem as tools for enlightenment and still today use them to assist in reaching higher states of consciousness. Mandalas, like the Sri Yantra (below), are ritual symbols bearing a square with four gates and containing a circle with a center point. They have been used for thousands of years to represent the Universe. More recently a mandala has come to mean any geometric pattern or shape that is used to represent the microcosm of the universe

Meditation has played a key role in the use of these geometric patterns, and the applications have been similar to the use of mantras, which are sacred words or phrases said to have psychological and spiritual powers. Both are still used to create sacred space and to induce meditation or trance-like states that are said to help one connect with the universe.

But could this ancient practice mean that the ancients understood something about the universe that modern science has only recently begun to understand?

Holographic Universe: The Cutting Edge of Geometry and Science

More recently Quantum physicists have revealed the idea that we exist in a holographic universe. But what does this mean exactly?

Simply put, the properties of our universe – every galaxy every star and every planet – is likely contained within every single particle within it, like a hologram. Author Michael Talbot has written extensively on the subject,

“In 1982 a remarkable event took place. At the University of Paris a research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 20th century.

Aspect and his team discovered that under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. It doesn’t matter whether they are 10 feet or 10 billion miles apart.

Somehow each particle always seems to know what the other is doing. The problem with this feat is that it violates Einstein’s long-held tenet that no communication can travel faster than the speed of light. Since traveling faster than the speed of light is tantamount to breaking the time barrier, this daunting prospect has caused some physicists to try to come up with elaborate ways to explain away Aspect’s findings. But it has inspired others to offer even more radical explanations.

University of London physicist David Bohm, for example, believes Aspect’s findings imply that objective reality does not exist, that despite its apparent solidity the universe is at heart a phantasm, a gigantic and splendidly detailed hologram.

The three-dimensionality of such images is not the only remarkable characteristic of holograms. If a hologram of a rose is cut in half and then illuminated by a laser, each half will still be found to contain the entire image of the rose.

Indeed, even if the halves are divided again, each snippet of film will always be found to contain a smaller but intact version of the original image. Unlike normal photographs, every part of a hologram contains all the information possessed by the whole.”

Modern Application

Much like fractals, the idea that the universe consists of an infinite pattern of energy seems to align with this geometric view of our world.

So how does this view of our universe affect the future of science? For starters, it might be wise to conduct more peer-reviewed research on the effects of geometric shapes on the human body. Ancient practices like meditation and the use of mandalas have already been proven to increase mental clarity and decrease a tendency for violence. If structures like Pyramids can help induce faster healing mechanisms and increase the decay rate of radioactive matter, surely we could apply these findings to modern architecture and begin developing a new approach to solving many of the problems that plague the modern world.
